Annotation

The article is devoted to substantiation of the theoretical principles and development of the scientific and practical approaches to formation and implementation of the innovative and creative model of managing competitiveness of farming enterprises. The practical aspect of the problem is determined by the necessity to generate effective mechanisms which would facilitate development of managerial innovations at all levels to create competitive advantages in the branches which are attractive and profitable for farms.

The research considers principles of the innovative and creative improvement of the management of farms’ competitiveness. The work presents author’s interpretation of the concept of «creative management». Its main focus is made on solution of the relevant collective tasks and based on the modern innovative technologies and team work. It is determined that creativity in management is caused by the post-industrial stage of the economy development which is characterized by transition from commodity production to the service economy. Introduction of innovations in the production and management processes can be implemented due to creativity, i.e. the ability to generate new ideas and ways of effective solution of problems. It is confirmed that creativity in managing competitiveness of farming enterprises enables farmers to solve complicated tasks, to be creative in the process of farm management. Creativity in competitiveness management is the characteristic of a farmer who is an open, persistent, independent person with a non-traditional way of thinking and readiness to realize principally new ideas.

The modeled sequence of the stages of a creative idea development and the system of innovative and creative management of farms’ competitiveness provide for development of the social and professional competence and managerial creativity of a farmer as a head and a manager of the farming enterprise. Application of the innovative and creative model of management ensures competitiveness of farms, especially in the conditions of rapid changes in the business life. The economic dimension of creativity is revealed in the impact of innovations on business and thus, in generation and stimulation of productivity and economic growth of farms. Commercial implementation is the resulting option of creative decisions and innovations in competitiveness management.
