Annotation

Despite the fact that talent management is one of the most promising approaches to personnel management, as evidenced by the large amount of foreign scientific and popular science literature, it should be noted that organizations in Ukraine rarely consider the issue of talent management. In other words, talent management is unsystematic, and thus inefficient. At the same time, the activities of organizations focused on evaluation of the existing professionals allow creating space for the formation and development of a culture of employee talent management. Introduction of the talent management system provides qualitative assessment to each employee and increases his/her motivational potential. Talent management is based on the principles of providing companies with loyal and motivated professionals. Therefore, ignoring the talent of management as the main direction of personnel management in the long run may be the basis for the decline of the enterprise. The research substantiates importance of attracting and retaining talented people in the organization. The need to manage talented employees for the development of the company is highlighted. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the factors influencing attractiveness of the organization for talented employees and to identify the concepts of «talent management» and «personnel management», as well as their differences on the basis of detailed analysis. The content of the concepts «talent», «talent management» is studied and the problems in the field of human resources management are determined. Much of the article is focused on the analysis of the stages of talent management. The study reveals how the development of personnel and the main activities of the company should be implemented in the process of achieving the company's goals. The scientific novelty of the study is the visualization of the talent management cycle and matrix methods of evaluating the existing employees. As a result of the research, the authors propose measures to implement talent management as an HR strategy of the company. They provide for increasing the level of competencies of employees through implementation and development of programs to attract, retain, develop and promote the talents. The program must be adjusted to the needs of each employee, so that talents can develop their potential and skills.
