Changes in the ecological state bring unpredictable consequences for hu-man health. Pollution of the environment becomes threatening. The development of tourism in modern conditions requires high-quality natural and favorable climat-ic conditions. The operation of tourism business depends directly on the state of the environment. For the rational use of land in tourist-attractive regions, planning and management systems should be developed to facilitate the consideration of environmental components such as the air environment, water and other natural resources, on the basis of ecological planning of agro-landscapes, which will focus on ecosystems as a strategic basis for the creation of a sustainable source means of existence of the rural population and its development. Due to the balanced devel-opment of tourism, such goals of sustainable development of the region can be achieved: preservation of natural, cultural and social diversity. What is more, for the development of tourism and solving the problem of environmental protection and conservation, it is necessary to implement environmental measures and to re-place obsolete equipment in an environmentally sound and environmentally-friendly manner.

In the natural environment we distinguish natural resources and natural conditions. Natural resources mean the body and forces of nature, which at this level of development of productive forces can be used in the socio-economic ac-tivity of man, and under natural conditions (climate, space energy, etc.) we under-stand natural phenomena that neither directly nor indirectly take participation in industrial or non-productive activities of people. If the definition of natural re-sources does not raise objections, then in relation to natural conditions - the situa-tion is different. Natural conditions still influence the quality of the environment - directly or indirectly - on human economic activity. This is especially true for tour-ism.

A definitely important factor in the formation of the tourist attractiveness of the territory is a quality environment. Correctly selecting a set of environmental indicators, you can determine the most attractive region for the quality of the envi-ronment. To do this, in the first stage of evaluation, the most attractive region for the quality of the environment should be determined by defining normalized indi-cators for each of the selected indicators; at the second stage - an integral rank indicator for assessing the tourist attractiveness of the region for the quality of the environment.

With the rational use of land in tourist-attractive regions, planning and management systems should be developed that will facilitate the consideration of environmental components such as the air environment, water and other natural resources, on the basis of ecological planning of agro-landscapes, which will focus on the ecosystem as a strategic basis for creating a sustainable source of livelihood for the rural population and its development.
