Crop production in agricultural enterprises of the Busk district is a highly profitable industry. Grain production is mainly concentrated in agricultural enterprises. The level of profitability of technical crops is much higher than the profitability of grain, which stimulates agricultural enterprises to increase the production of soybean, sunflower and rape. Analysis of individual agricultural enterprises has showed a large fluctuation in the level of profitability of crop production. This gives grounds for arguing that there are significant reserves of profitability growth in future.

A sale of grain directly after harvesting affects its quality and, accordingly, the price. It has been proved that in order to reduce price risks and obtain a fair price for cultivated products, there is a need for sufficient agricultural producers to maintain and maintain their grain production capacities. The availability of grain storage facilities in the region is insufficient. Purchase prices for grain traders and processors in the western region are among the lowest in Ukraine. In order to obtain a fair price for cultivated products, sufficient supplies from agricultural producers are required for the processing and storage of grain. This will save the quality of the crop, prevent losses and sell grain in the most favorable price period. The construction of modern elevators with a high level of mechanization requires significant funds, which requires state support. Construction of granaries in farms will create additional employment of the population in the inter-season period, which will allow to solve not only industrial but also social problems.
