Nowadays, degradation changes in the environment affect the yield of all crops. However, there are very few researches concerning the impact of environmental factors on the yield of vegetables. The contribution of agroecological factors to the variation of the open ground vegetables yield on the territory of 206 administrative districts in the Polissya and Forest-steppe zones within Ukraine was investigated, and local spatial-temporal models of this variation were determined. The dynamics of vegetable yields in most administrative areas can be described by a fourth-degree polynomial. However, in this research the general trend that was not been analyzed, but the residuals (emissions) of the regression model, which were caused by the influence of agroecological factors. The agroecological factors contribution to the vegetable yields dispersion varies from 10 to 47 % depending on the study area. Due to global principal components analysis of the regression model residuals eight statistically significant principal components, which together account for 90,4 % of the total variability of the feature space, are identified. To simplify the interpretation of the results, we used the "scree plot" criterion according to which, it is advisable to leave for further studies only the first 2 major components, which together account for 47,7 % of the total variance of the dispersion. Both principal components are spatially determined. Through the geographically weighted principal component analysis the presence of dynamic of vegetables yield of fluctuating nature with different frequency was found. Geographically weighted principal component analysis revealed the territorial clusters with the same dynamics of variation of vegetables yield. Spatial mapping of clusters and their temporal dynamics can be used for yields prediction in the future, as well as to become the basis for agroecological zoning of the territory for growing open ground vegetables.
