Annotation

One of the most important and promising ways to increase the productivity of sweet peppers in greenhouses is the creation and introduction into production of high-yield heterozosis hybrids. Selection for heterosis requires the creation of the necessary number of output forms, which would be possible to solve the issues raised. They must have a set of desirable economic and valuable features, as well as a high ability to combine them in hybrids F1.

The presence of hybrid populations of wide genetic diversity on the basis of features will allow the creation of high-quality source material for obtaining heterozygous F1 hybrids.

As a result of the conducted research, the peculiarities of the sweet pepper gene pool, the adaptability of the source material, the resistance to stress conditions, and the technological qualities have been studied. The production of sweet pepper breeding material for the conditions of film greenhouses without heating began with the creation of initial hybrid populations for further positive selections. They originated from the crossings of previously selected, previously created by us the best set of features of the lines of the schemes – 2, 3, 4, 5 lines.

Selection of the best samples of the sweet pepper source material in the collection nursery on the basis of economic and valuable features was carried out. The best samples are selected on the basis of early maturity and yield.As a result of the work, samples were taken with high resistance to the reduction of such struggle, as fusariosis of fusion from the hybrid population – №№ 52, 132, 103, high-yielding – from №№ 54, 62, 70, 71, 99, speeds – from №№ 50, 52, 71.

The research focuses on the methods for obtaining the source material and the creation of new heterozygous hybrids on their basis. Therefore, it is important to create hybrid populations for the selection of marks of selected forms, attracting them to crosses, sort tests of the best hybrids F1.

Methods of creating hybrid populations for the selection of valuable plants have been developed by crossing genetically distant lines derived from crossings of the best foreign F1 hybrids.

The revealed patterns ensured the creation of a genetic bank of sources of economic and valuable features. The research results have theoretical and practical significance for breeding.
