Annotation

The review of literature shows that, unfortunately, there are no capital, monographic works of the fennel of vivo-tea, although the first publications that have come to this day relate to 1784–1785 years.

The first studies of fennel of ordinary, as a technical culture, conducted in 1896–1897 gg. On the experimental field at Kherson zemsky agricultural school; significant results in the study of conventional fennel, the creation of varieties and cultivating agricultural techniques were obtained at the Institute of Essential Oil and Medicinal Plants of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Crimean Experimental Station of Vegetable and Melonics of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Bukovyna Institute of Agro-Industrial Production of UAAS, the Podillya State Agrarian and Technical University, the Kolomyia Research Station of Ivano-Frankiv Institute of Agro-Industrial Production of UAAS.

The cultivation technologies have many contradictions, with regard to specific parameters and in bulk are compilative (especially with regard to sowing technology).

Consequently, on the basis of the above, the theme chosen for research is based on the following working hypothesis: the optimal term for sowing the culture is the early sowing of April 01–10 (early terms).

The article highlights and analyzes the regularities of changing the yield of a fennel of the usual for growing on sod-podzolic soils, depending on the different periods of sowing. Fennel's usual – a typical heat-loving culture, with a sensitive reaction to light irritation during the day. This partly explains the dependence of seed productivity of plants on the timing of sowing. The following terms of sowing were used in the experiment: early (April 01–10), medium (April 20–22) and late (May 01–10).

The highest seed yield, at the level of 15,8 c/ha, was obtained on average for four ro-ki at the sowing from 01 to 10 April. In the years of research, yields varied from 14,8 to 16,6 centners per hectare with an average variation coefficient of 15,5 % and an effect of the observed factor of 28 %. The lowest yield – 13,1 c/ha was obtained at the beginning of May in sowing; the average is 14,7 c/ha in the third decade of April (from 20 to 22).

Experimentally proved the possibility of obtaining stable crop yields at the level of 15–16 centner / ha of fennel seeds common in the Pre-Carpathian region of the Ivano-Frankivsk region during sowing in the first half of April.
