Annotation

The article presents results of correlation relations of yield and elements of its structure in potato hybrids referring to the level of mineral nutrition. Mineral fertilizers were applied in the norms N45P45K60 (background A) and N90P90K120 (background B).

The work defines relationship between some economically valuable features of descendants, created with participation of the varieties of different origin: Luhovska, Zarevo, Sozh, Granola, Karpatska, Mavka, Slava, Polonyna.

Having obtained results of the hybrid analysis of generative descendants of different combinations, as well as under impact of the level of mineral nutrition, the experiment suggests a correlation dependence between yield and number of tubers in a bush and their average weight. The ratio of correlation between yield and number of tubers in a bush in different combinations, depending on agricultural background, variated from +0,55±0,13 to +0,84+0,06. In the combinations Mavka × Zarevo, Slava × Zarevo, Luhovska × Granola, one observes the tendency to increase of the ratio of correlation between those features under the increased level of mineral nutrition.

In the combinations Karpatska × Zarevo, Polonyna × Sozh, Luhovska × Sozh, Mavka × Granola, the inverse dependence was marked. The ratio of correlation in the combinations Karpatska × Zarevo on the background A was higher (+0,65±0,11) than on the background B (+0,55±0,13).

Descendants of the varieties Karpatska × Sozh did not demonstrate a clear regularity. Correlation ratios between yield and number of tubers in a bush on the background A and on the background B constituted (+0,73±0,08).

The highest ratio of correlation is indicated between the yield and number of tubers in a bush (+0,84+0,06 Polonyna × Sozh), as well as yield and the average weight of a tuber (+0,71±0,11 Karpatskyi × Zarevo), which confirms the average positive and high dependence between the indicators.

The defined tendency to increase of the correlation ratio between yield and weight of tubers, and reduction of the inverse relation between the number of tubers in a bush and their average weight under increased agricultural background.
